We left Dubois this morning and had a great ride. We went down
through Thermopolis and the wind river and up the Chief Joseph Hwy to
Beartooth Hwy.
We had a stop along the way about 30 miles north of Thermopolis for
an accident. It did not appear to be too good as there was a priest
giving last rite's. The whole road was blocked for over an hour. They
had 4 ambulances and brought in a helicopter. It looked like a Toyota
tried to drive through a motorhome (from the front) and only made it to
the dining table. I hope everyone makes it through ok

Lori (S.) went straight through to Red Lodge and Mark, Lori and I
took the bikes over Beartooth. What a great ride. Lori hooked up with a
group of riders that wanted to sightsee and Dirtball and I did a speed
run. 50 miles from the Chief Joseph to red lodge in 47 minutes. It was
great. I think Dirtball ground off at least an inch of his running
boards. (And people say darkside tires can't corner... Hah!)
We all regrouped in Red Lodge and caravan'd up to Billings for the
night. We just finished dinner at a local Cracker Barrel (yummm.) and
are now relaxing.
Tomorrow we head to the East side of Glacier before going over the Going to the sun Hwy.
