B.C. bound!

1 Week! Almost there!

Next Saturday morning we are leaving with John and Gina and headed for the great white north. I used to say we were headed for Alaska, but as Dawn so aptly pointed out, even though we are going to be driving into Alaska, it is on the lower panhandle and therefor we cannot really consider it Alaska. :-)

So, anyway we are headed north for 2 weeks to sight see British Columbia. We will step into Alaska and the Yukon territory, and cross through Alberta on the way back. It will be a much more relaxed trip this time as we are only going approx 4000 miles in two weeks.

We will stop off at Banff for the Laborday weekend and relax before heading south into Montana and then heading back west. It should be a great trip with a lot to see. I will update this Blog as we go along (as Wi-fi allows)

This will also be a first for me as I have left all the Prepwork to John. He has done an excellent job on the research of the route and I will just have to follow along this time instead of leading all day every day. That alone will make it a more relaxing trip.

The bikes are almost ready and Lori and I are certainly ready. It should be fun!

See ya soon!

  1. When traveling through Montana, if you find yourself in Darby, be sure and stay at the Mountain Spirit Inn...great folks there and its a nice easy ride over Lolo afterwards.
